The latest thoughts and adventures of Madam Wilcox

Salute

As the year comes to an end I’m traveling to Paris for Nuit Demonia for a fetish frolick and then a few days to relax in the cafes. No doubt I’ll find myself at the Louvre. For those of you who don’t know, I have my Bachelors in Art Administration. I love art and Paris is a place of living art. It’s the best Christmas present ever. Thank you K.C.. K.C. is putting together the calendar “Pro Dommes and Beyond” for 2010. Yours truly is Domme April in celebration of my birthday. My ponies Copper (a.k.a. Penny Barber) and Beauty (a.k.a. Submissann) are at my side. It has been a grand year for ponies and delicious year in general.

Christmas in the KY and the New Year in LA wraps up 2008. It feels like a poignant time as we enter a new era this 2009. I leave you with food for thought as the year turns.

‘The Second Coming’

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold’
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
the best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in the sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
Agaze blank and and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
