Weeeellll, sometime back I was in an erotic film for a student project and low and behold it has been accepted to the Good Vibrations Amateur Erotic Film Festival. I haven’t even seen it myself. I’m very excited about it, though with a tad bit of anxiety since I haven’t seen it. If you’re interested in catching it on the big screen, it’s showing at the Castro Theater at 9:20pm on the 30th of this month. It’s advisable to pre-purchase your tickets.

WHAT IS IT?

Good Vibrations is thrilled to announce our Third Annual Amateur Erotic Film Festival! Ever wonder what your neighbors are doing with their camcorders? Come see for yourself! The festival began three years ago to create a forum for Bay Area filmmakers to examine and present erotic film in a way that was personally and regionally representative. (Add that we’ve opened it up to all of CA and MA) This is where we bypass the mainstream porn machine and find out what makes you hot. What the hell is erotic, you ask? It’s as broad and varied as the number of people considering it. From kissing, talking, to straight up sex, it’s whatever turns you on.

THE FILMMAKERS:

You! Your friends! Anyone with a handy-cam and a vision in California or Massachusetts. See if you can spot the neighborhoods, buildings, and mall bathrooms where the films were shot! Finalists will receive distribution by Good Vibrations. The winning categories are:

If you’re in San Francisco, come on down to the Castro Theater, where Peaches Christ invites you to break out your sleaziest duds and enjoy short films by the best amateur erotic film makers of our time. $10 and a valid I.D. gets you into the pre-party where you can rub elbows with the talent in the Mezzanine Lounge, groove to the sleazy stylings of DJ Wrong?
