The latest thoughts and adventures of Madam Wilcox

Another Poem by Amadis of Gaul

Captured

Bright lights and medical tables,
Chains and ropes,
Cages and dark rooms,
Leather chaps and straps,
Powerful hands in dark gloves,
A bright smile under a powerful cap,
She towers over you, looking down at you,
Her captive prey, and her fond pet.

A gloved hand holds all of you
In a minute, in an hour, in a day,
All of you is held by her look, by hand, by a foot,
From a distance her thoughts hold you.

Greek Syrens took Odyessus and Hylas,
Through eons of time, over mountains and oceans,
Syrens come through the Golden Gate.

Madam Wilcox is the Syren of the Urban Aboriginals.
We shall all be under her thoughtful gaze and her calm control.
